The start of a new week. Monday.
"Oh goddam, i have to go to work :( "
This is the feeling that everyone i know gets at the start of a new week.
Why?
If i am right, atleast with my own feeligns, then i can definitely say everyone in this world would love to get paid without ever stepping out to work on a monday. The first thought every monday morning is "when wil friday dawn upon me?".
I still wonder why they call it "Monday Morning Blues". Whatever the reason maybe, its funny to see the majority of the working class wearing blue clothing on a monday. Does the colour blue have any significance with monday. I somehow feel no other colour woul do justice on a monday.
As the week progresses, u realise the weekend is suddenly upon us. And u start to wonder how fast the week passed by. And one more week in your life is over. But who cares? The weekend is here. yippppppppeeeeeeeee
Friday evenings. There is such an elated feeling in everyone's hearts. Being in Bangalore i know that 90% of the people head straight to bars, pubs, discs to get high n release the pressures of the whole working week. Well with Bangalore being the "Beer Capital" of Asia, no wonder all bars n pubs are full on a friday evening.
Saturday. Getting up late without the worry of getting to office early is such a pleasure. The old college days re-visited. Roam here n there. Meet friends whom you havent been able to catch up with during the working week. And head to a bar or pub again on saturday. Any surprises? In Bangalore? No way. Dunno about any other city.
Sunday. Again get up late. Really late. Mostly at lunch time. Then a few hours of fun before the feeling of going to work on monday starts to loom large in your face.
And the story goes on. Super exciting life we all got.
PS: This is the story of the first 2 or 3 weeks of a month. By the 4th week the story changes for most because almost everyone is broke by then. Then again another story starts to weave. "Salary Lure"
